As the title suggests, summer Saturdays mean cricket in this house, which means touring East Sussex and the playgrounds associated with the cricket grounds. Today it was the turn of Fletching.
The playground was a hit with the girls but our visit was split by a trip to the nearby National Trust property Sheffield Park and Gardens. It’s a lovely place for a walk, with beautiful colours at all times of the year; pinks and whites now and amazing oranges and reds in the autumn. I can definitely recommend it for a walk if you are out a bit further west.
